How to make the Fogs come on with headlights

On a non-RS Camaro, does anyone know how to make it so that the Fog Lights will come on everytime the headlights come on? I know you can push the fog light button but then when you turn off the car the fog lights don't come back on with the headlights. I would like it so that the they come on everytime and don't get reset when you turn the car off.

I'm wondering the same thing. Is there a mode you can put the fog lights in so that they come on automatically with the headlights?

Can I make a request that people NOT run their fog lights with their headlights. I'm tired of being blinded at night for no reason. It doesn't look cool, it just looks like you don't know the difference between a fog light and a headlight.

I'm still looking for the button that turns on the fog lights while your headlights are on. I'd be happy with that. Where's this fog light button everybody keeps talking about?

You can't do it with an RS.

the easy explanation is that it would let the DRL circuit keep power even with the headlights on

i did something simulare on my avalanch and will do this on my camaro. im sure i have some leftover dioeds from that

but the basic part of it is to take a dioed and heat shrink it thin in the fuse box under the hood connect the headlight fuse and the foglight fuse together with the heatshrinked dioed make sure the line on the dioed is toward the headlight fuse(this prevents feedback to the headlights)

i will do a diy on this cause i am wanting to do this myself

i ain't been in the fuse box of a Camaro to see what actually works, but if you can do it like on the trucks, you'll want to jump the relays instead of fuses

this pick also has the all on high mod and constant day time running lights the camaro will only need one dioed in there

i will do this this weekend and post a diy on it because it drives me nuts to have to always hit that damm button at night it should only take about five min once i get under there

For those of you that chimed in that have RS's, and want something similar...you can. check out this thread. Fieldgoal00 has been making these harnesses for a while and they work flawlessly. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95274

for you Non-RS guys.....send him a PM and ask him if he has a harness to do what you ask.

Coming from a Silverado Duramax, I was fishing under the hood today using diodes. Back in the day, the 85 pin to the low beam would be connected with the 85 pin of the high beams, and on to the fog lights. We'd have everything on which was bad ass.

Now, I tried a couple different configurations for this. I'd like to have full control of my fog lights #1, but two, to be able to use them when my low beams are on. Spending a hundred bucks on a harness is kind of a lot when a whole package of diodes can do the same thing for $2.

For those of us with the RS packages, there's a small fuse box with numbered pins, just like on our trucks that I used. The fog light is numbered at 50 and I used those to connect together. So far, nothing, nada.

I'm also not done with this yet. Just ran out of daylight.

This is what we've used before and worked flawlessly for years.

The concept has gotta be the same.
