So jealous of those that can order a car this time of year.

I could never order a car this time of year.
By the time it came in, there would be feet of snow on the ground and heavy salt on the roads.

The latest I could order was probably around late August for an October delivery. And that's a car that's already been in production.

If I were to order a new Camaro, I would have had to wait until March of '16 for a May '16 delivery.

I'm planning on driving mine until salt hits the roads. After that, I'll only drive it on really nice days where the roads are decently clear.

Same here. I rode my 2010 SS thru winter. Did just fine with all season tires and start in 2nd gear. Getting a car wash subscription when the 2016 gets here and running it thru the car wash every other day to keep the salt off.

I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a 2016 2LT RS on order. Do you think all seasons would be fine for the winter for me up here OR should I get 20" snow tires?

Should I get 20" or 18" snow tires?

Well if get 18" wheel size tires, you would have to buy a new set of wheels since you will have 20" on your car from your build.

Now by new set of wheels, you mean new rims, right?

Do 18" snow tires for the Camaro PERFORM better in the snow than 20" snow tires?

Yes wheels are the technical term, rims are technically the outer edge of a wheel or an outer edge of anything circular, rims are used as a slang term for wheels...I am not even sure if they make snow tires with that big of a wheel diameter, especially since they are low profile tires. You definitely would want more of a thicker profile for a snow tire anyway.

Sports cars just don't work in the winter where I live.
We get too much snow. And too much snow in each snow event.
Car would get hung up.

It's not so much that the roads get slick but more that the snow on the roads is just too deep. Especially when the plows go by & leave walls.

You should be fine with all seasons. Mine perform quite well (general g max a/s). I ride them year round in the recommended sizes, 245 front 275 rear.

Of course winter tires will have the best preformance though. If u go 18" make sure u get a tall tire. The width of the tire is important too. The thinner the better.
