npp exhaust fuse pull

Tomorrow I will be picking up my new 2013 Camaro SS. I was wondering if anyone has done the fuse removal to keep the exhaust valves open at all times? Can someone please explain to me which one or ones I need to pull out to make this happen?

Look on youtube or the V8 section. I saw it over there somewhere with a diagram.

There's a fuse box in the trunk on the passenger side behind the carpet. The fuse you want is F8. Apparently, you have to remove the inner rear plastic, then the 2 push pins holding the carpet and it should be revealed (got this info from pwrmanpaul66).

I couldn't release the carpet after doing all of that so if you figure it out, please let me know!

By the way, the dual mode exhaust is brilliant!

I know on a Corvette it's the bottom right fuse in the box,the fuse panels may be similar, just read on the fuse box cover which fuse controls the NPP exhaust.

Pulled mine this past weekend. I noticed the engine spins easier during shifts, which I didn't expect. Must have something to do with reduced back pressure.

Anyway I love the sound and the engine feels happier. It does boom in 6th below 65 mph, so I may consider a switch.

YOOG, remove the back panel, then the spare time cover to allow access to the side carpet. I could not get the top push pin out (the lower one screws on/off), but the carpet slid over it without tearing.

Couldn't agree more with wakespeak...shifts are much smoother (especially 1st to 2nd) and the car sounds incredible under 3k RPM. Took all of five minutes to find and remove. Can't get enough of the sound of God!

It's only on the dual mode factory exhaust.
