Cordes Performance Racing & Sales Mesa AZ
So I decided to finally put a cam in my 2010 Camaro SS. After weeks of research on forums such as camaro5.com I was almost ready to pull the trigger. I figured I would start to call performance shops in Arizona and pick one to do the install and tune. I contacted the most commonly used performance shops and all of them provided an emailed quote. Of all the quotes provided only one shop made me feel like a true customer and not just a drive through money machine. Joe @ Cordes Performance in Mesa Arizona was the only one that took the time to talk to me about my goals and future plans for the car. Once on the phone with Joe I quickly realized he is a true car enthusiast and honest upfront guy. After countless emails and phone calls I sent to Joe he always answered my questions with a smile and provided invaluable car knowledge. We decided on a custom ground cam and milled heads with a ported manifold to complete the package. I dropped the car off at the end of the week and a few days later my car was ready to be driven home. Needless to say the car sounds amazing and the power is felt throughout the entire RPM range. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone who is looking for a performance shop that houses honest, hard working and knowledgeable techs. His prices are the best in town and the knowledge and support provided is second to none.

I've only met Joe once but he was very nice and did great work. If I need a shop when I move there in 3 weeks I'm going to CPR for that type of work.

Joe just ordered up a similar performance package for my '13 Trans Am. Hope it is in his shop in the next couple of weeks. (He is also installing some headers on my family vehicle -- a 12 Durango Hemi). My experience with Joe has been he same.

I just found out there is a delay on the TA -- new 3 piece rear is a week out, so it will be end of month before it shows...

Wonderful service with CPR! Ive been talking to Joe about my current build and he has answered all my questions and then some. CPR and Joe have had excellent customer service and communication. I drove up to the shop on Friday and they installed my Kooks LTs and hi-flow cats. Lets just say there were absolutely no issues and the car performs and sounds great. Joe even assured me there would be no "header" shake due to AFM in my L99 - and he was spot on, no shake. I dropped the car off around 1130 and they allowed it to cool down and they were done shortly after 4pm. This was a worthwhile trip and far exceeded my expectations and a 180 from using any of the local shops in town. My last set of LT headers I had put on locally, the headers shook, they broke/cracked my spark plugs and made me pay for new ones plus had to have the connectors and mesh adjusted a few times - and the labor fee was a ton more than CPR. THANKS CPR! See you soon for the SC install.
