The Richmond Gear facebook page is saying they released the V6 gears for the 2010 Camaro today, 1/4/10.

Try these calculators... I have heard of a guy that took his 2010 over 150 mph.. procharged, and could not get anything out of his sixth gear... so I would say a shorter gear is going to make 6th usable for top end... if that's what your looking for..

I'm interested to see if these will be quiet like the stock gears or if there will be some whine out of them. A little whine won't bother me but something loud might drive me crazy

richmond says these gears are quiet as long as you set the pinion depth correctly and they are even quiet +/- .005" of the correct pinion depth.

I'm thinking that at or near sea level I would go no higher then the 3.73s unless a dedicated track car. But up here at the 6000ft+ where I'm at, 4.10s are on the book for me. Just can't part with my money that fast.

all the shift tables will need to be modified,, im going to use a 2009 cts-v for my base trans file,,, the cts-v comes with a 6L90e and 3.70 gears

Does the computer need to be recalibrated in any way for the gear change ?? Anyone know a top notch shop that can install the gears within a couple hours drive of Knoxville TN ?? TIA.... Ed M.

Your shift tables will need to be adjusted in the TCM for proper shifting.
