No tips but you should probably remove everything before the coma.

Probably better to remove it and just be "this sumer I'd like to take my car to the drag strip. Any tricks for a beginner? I have a 6 speed stick and a v6 I'm all ears."

I've personally never raced a car at a track, but I've heard to keep the gas at a quarter of a tank to preserve weight. I'm not sure if it would even make a difference or not honestly, but I remember reading that on here at one point.

Clutch upgrade is in order if you're going to be doing this a lot.

Damn a coma? That's bad.

I'd suggest comma.

you can lose some air in your rear tires for more traction. understand how the christmas tree works, where you're going.

Here is my first tip. You will not have any vehicle damage insurance from the starting line until you get onto the return road. Keep this in mind before you go. You gotta pay to play.

Next tip. I assume you will be on street tires. So lower the rear pressure down a a few lbs and DO NOT run through the water box then burnout.

Next try a run with all the nannies on to get the feel of it. The track is nothing like a normal paved road.

Last tips. Pay attention to the guys working the track. Pull forward until the top pre-staged lights come on. Roll slightly forward until the staged lights come on. When tree starts then launch when the 2nd yellow light comes on (unless a pro tree). After the run try to avoid turning off on the first turnout and rather go to the end turnout. Also if in left lane NEVER turn off in front of the person in the right lane.

FINAL TIP. Post this in the drag racing section instead of here.

40 pounds front and 25 pounds rear in the tires, low on gas, ditch any trunk junk, don't worry about taking off on green light, hold RPM at 2.5-3K and let up clutch pedal in one motion, don't dump it slip it out.
