2) being top dog at any event like this takes two parts...a car that is able to maneuver well on the track (fast doesn't hurt either but we've all see where more horsepower doesn't necessarily guarantee wins) and an experienced driver (although we've also seen where inexperience can be overcome by sheer determination)

Soooo...what I'm trying to say without being too much of a dick is that you're putting an awful lot of expectations on both car and driver and that really isn't too fair to stephanie. she needs to get out there and learn her car and just have fun...because that IS what it's really all about.

And if she goes out there and blows everybody away...then that would be awesome...but I'd be just as happy to see her get out there and have fun and learn what she and her car can do together without feeling like its not worth it if she doesn't beat everybody.
I know what you mean. I was mostly joking as it will not be raced until at least 2k on the odometer and all fluids are changed. When she does finally race it though i will drive with her riding the first time so she can see how to do it. Y'all have fun out there. Get some video.

Hopefully you will make it out Sunday. Just park by any of the Camaros. We have plenty of chair. Unless you plan to run...

Ok guys and gals, I guess I'll start this. Great weekend for Neomi and I. Neomi is still learning her Buick. She fought thru the pain in her elbow. As for me, I couldn't be any more happy. Ok, maybe if I had beat King COCC (aka Mike) The suspension parts we put in my car...WOW.
All in all, I think we all had a great weekend.

Had a great Auto X weekend. The LaCrosse did great 108 not bad for a Girl in a 6 cylinder luxury ride. Pretty proud of myself. But not as proud as the joy watching Ray keeping up with Mike and ending the weekend just within a fraction of second from him. Great job

Running your daily driver at an autox should be mandatory for everyone to get their driver's license. It'll help you understand what you and your car are capable of when trying to avoid an accident.

Anyone know what the fastest time was?

I agree. I believe the TTOD was of course the Formula V with a 56.xx.

@Ray I only ran faster than you so one of us could beat Cole. If he had not snuck that time in i was going to run all nannies off and let her fly for better or worse. Otherwise I'd gladly bow down to the superior driving of you and your fast car. Glad the suspension mods worked out for you.

Neomi, what can I say. Watching you drive that car is magical. Glad you come out and give it your best. It really pays off.

It was a really good weekend. Hopefully they will stop tweaking that course. They make it slower each time, at least for us bigger cars. Next month is red so that should be the course we dominate. They will probably figure a way to slow it down as well.
