about to get flamed but...
i know im gonna hear it from all the "natural asperation" and FI guys but theoretically speaking...if u decided to spray ur car what company would u recommend and how much would u limit urself to? ive always liked the things i heard about "texas nitrous" systems but this is a new area for me, i just cant really afford to go the FI route right now and i have alot of friends that have lt1 and ls1 cars and most of them run a 150 shot and have never had any problems and several are well over 100k on their engine (all are bolt on only cars) granted they dont spray them often. But im am considering useing the "poor mans speed" after my drivetrain warrenty runs out and just want to know what yalls recomendations/opnions are

as long as you set the system up with proper safety equipment, like a window switch, cutoff switch, etc and ensure you have adequate fuel to add when you spray you can run a fairly large amount of boost.
there are plenty of places that sell whole kits with all safety equipment. for some nitrous info... http://www.automedia.com/Nitrous_Oxide/pht20020301no/1 as far as the amount to spray safely... id start at around 100 or so, then do maybe a max of a 200 direct port shot with a modified fuel system just to be safe. plus running a step colder on the spark plugs as well as gapping them about .005 tighter.

According to fast and the furious NOS makes your car go blisteringly fast no matter how big of a POS your car is. Also causing all of the lights around you streak by as if your going a million miles an hour.

^ He has the correct answer... If they are anything like the LS1's from the 4th Gen's, a 150HP shot should be ok, just make sure you always have enough fuel, like in a "wet" system, including a second fuel pump...
