For CANADIANS ONLY: Does anyone have a Production Status Code?

Besides receiving an Order #. Did anyone receive a Status Level Code for their Camaro like our USA buddies?
Also I asked my Dealer for my Access code so I can follow the progress of my Camaro. He replied that this information(Access code) is only from GM in the USA I haven't had any news since Feb. 13.

i just had to rip my dealer for not even sending a welcome kit let alone any other info. they just told me that gm canada is not as forthcoming with info as the states. for a car being built here you'd think they'd show some more interest!

It was entered into Work BENCH on Jan 23rd. I placed my details with the dealer in Nov.

Ah yes, good point. I'm not 100% sure when my dealer actually entered the order into Work Bench. I was there and he was showing me the details on his screen... so I assume that he did it then. That would place the official order in late Nov/08. Unfortunately he is being a little less than helpful and not very forthcoming. He emailed me back and said he'd let me know when he gets an update. So I wrote him back and said he could just do an update and let me know. lol.

Well... I asked my salesperson to update my Work Bench order. I have not heard back. I'm guessing he's leaving the conversation at his previous reply of 'he'd let me know when he gets an update' which sounds like the non-proactive approach. I guess this a case where my salesperson is just stubburn, clueless, believes I am asking for too much information or all of the above.

How long would it take a salesperson to update a Work Bench order?

BTW... I phoned the 1-800 (in a different thread) and got absolutely nowhere. They just kept saying that production has not even started yet and phone back once the production has started.

No status code, no order number, no welcome kit. Ordered in December. I was told my order was placed last month and I should have my car by the end of May.
