I ordered this one and the scosche kit, I will make a thread when I start receiving the pieces.

Member Bile_Won did an amazing job getting me all the information to help make this decision final. I am prepared to shave the scosche kit slightly to get the pumpkin to fit.

I just noticed there is no temp or time on the scosche kits, is there a way to do this through the 6.95" pumpkin headunits?

So no cutting for yours? That's awesome. Was it the 6.2 or 6.95 size unit?
Post pic and review when install is done

Ok, so a slight change. Apparently the small trim ring is a little too small for the radio face. I guess the ring makes all the difference in funcitionality as Best Buy refused to install it without the ring. Makes zero sense to me. Its maybe an 16th of an inch on both sides. I asked him to install without the ring and I would trim it myself and he said he wouldn't.

Just pulled the trigger on this:

http://www.autopumpkin.com/pumpkin-u...2-wifi-3g.html

I also just bought another POS schsche unit to see if i can have better luck with the "newer" ones this time. I plan on transplanting the electronics to my custom painted one that I have already.

I will post my experience after i'm done.

I'm very curious to see how this is. Mind posting a video once you have it installed?
