it would be so great with 100 more hp!!! I can hang with nearly everything in the corners...some of my peak G's were over 1.3!

Great lap as usual. I totally understand what you're saying about HP. The Z/28 could kill it on the full course with some extra grunt under the hood.

Awesom lap!! I need to go to VIR when you go one of these days. I'm planning to do the circuit cross on patriot may 21 (not the same I know) but have been doing a ton in asseto corsa peeping for VIR.

Did you have an external gps with Harry's or just phone for data?

I do not have an external GPS. Just the my ipad mini with 4GLTE.

Garmin GLO really enhances the data logging taking refresh from 1hz to 4 - 5hz. I think Harry's has an algorithm that's smoothing but at NCCAR / Summit Point I was getting ~90 GPS points without GLO and +300 w/ GLO. The power of using GLO isn't so much enhancing Harry's but using Harry's you can extract a .VBO file and load it into Circuit Tools (Free) and do some really cool advanced analysis including line analysis. Unfort. the native GPS in mobile devices isn't accurate enough (both location and refresh) to do line analysis.

I've been meaning to write up a thread on this but haven't had a chance. If you're a motortrend on demand subscriber Carlos has a decent overview of Circuit Tools and how they use it for their instrument testing. Circuit Tools also has some good tutorials on their website. I can't believe the software is free!

Headers and a tune only for the rear 02 sensor and skip shift. The engine tune is stock.

Very nice. I miss VIR, haven't been there in over 10 years.. The 10 hour drive there didn't seem bad but the drive back was horrible.

Its that .80 OD 5th gear that puts the car out of the power band and makes it feel like it hits a wall..
