Today I detailed my car using Blackfire products. I highly recommend this line of products. I usually use Meguiars and I have used Adams. After 1 time I'm sold on Blackfire.

Well if you have tome tomorrow and you are on the Marine base. Swing ny the backside of the PMO building where the kennels are. You can't miss it you will hear all the dogs barking. That's where I park.

Thinking probably that was done due to the auto tranny having weaker gearing, but could be wrong.

I did 4.10, and this thing runs nice, i hear people breaking them, but i have run them at the track with no problems. car feels alot lighter, pick up is alot faster. fastest time i could manage with stock tires was a low 13's lot of wheel spin need to learn to launch off the line. i cruse around in fith gear. im glad i did this mod.

So I called Servco Chevy on Ferrington HWY this morning about the ZL1 that they have on there web site. Was told that it should arive next month and it will be sold durring a drawing instead of under allocation. Once approved for financing for the car you will be added to the drawing that should take place a week or so after it arrives at the dealership. I was also told that it will be sold at MSRP with no dealer mark up. Its listed at 56K on their web site.

Leeward Servco doesn't do the dealer mark-ups. I got my Camaro from them (Mike Gomez) very easy dealings with them.

Thats great. I figured the gearing would cause loss of traction and going thru alot of tires. If you can get them to stick, should be able to pull off a good run.

How's ur car holding up. If I remember correctly, yours, haloe and my camaro came in on the same day at Windward Servco back in 2009. I'm hoping to hit the track in Maui hopefully end of year for some fun. Wish the Superferry was still here would make it alot easier to move cars around. Anyways, glad your getting some track time with your car!

You serious about Maui? I've been debating shipping mine up to get some runs in. Let me know and I'll try to coordinate.

Serious? I was looking at container pricing to West Coast for C5 when in Arizona, but pricing was way over $1000 back then. Worried about Matson/Young Bros blowing motor screwing around. People may need granny/Valet tunes.

Sting, if it was close to 4pm it was most likely me, thanks for the compliment. I flew out last night to the mainland, so won't be driving around until beginning of June.

Car's doing good, wish i could say the same for me, about three weeks ago injured me back at work, but doing ok. Let me know if you guys are coming over to race your cars, maybe i can tag along with you guys. My friend that went to one of the last races here said that a stock black camaro ss ran a 12.9 second run.

So you in for Maui? We can drag and autocross while the cars are there. I was thinking of keeping my car there for a couple of months to get good use the tracks!

Were looking at after our trip to Phoenix for the Nascar race and after few days at Bonderaunt High Speed driving class.

Had a small turnout at the Hawaii Kai car show last weekend. I think I saw one (cal) 5th gen and a few other older gen camaros. The challengers were out in force!
