Winter has set in, so both my lovelies are in for a nap. Hopefully, we'll see temps back into the 40s and 50s soon and some much needed cruising can be done!

Observed a full detail with clay barring by hand, paint correction, polish, and sealant application(all machine) by a friend yesterday.
I think I'm ready to do my 2 lovelies!
I have 2 thoughts: I may end up in traction if my back doesn't cooperate;
This may be the most expensive detail job ever if this ends up being the first AND last time I use my new Rupes Big Foot! har!

Well I did it!
Full detail on the RS took me 11 hours(spread out over 2 days). I had a few problems with my machine, but after I did an online chat with an Adam's tech, I got the problem corrected, and the detail job on the SS only took me 7 hours.
I must say, I wouldn't have thought that there would be that much difference in the appearance of a Summit White after detailing, but boy was I wrong! The difference is pretty amazing if I do say so myself! lol!
So here is Sassys's shiny rear end after the detail!

And a pic of the RSpost detail. It was an overcast day and starting to drizzle rain so I couldn't get an outside pic, but believe me, she was ne shiny girl...lol.

Looks great! I love a shiny rear end! I do think your Spring Ed. is tastefully done, although I am obviously partial to SW SS's with racing stripes. You did say you observed 11 hours of detailing, right? I can't imagine you doing that with your back. In fact, I can't imagine me doing it with my back.

No, I didn't observe for 11 hours; 11 hours is how much time I put in on my first full detail of my RS...over a 2 day period...lol. I did an extra wash that wasn't necessary after claying, and had some machine problems that slowed me waaaay down. But after doing the first car, I streamlined my process and was able to do the SS in 7 hours with a few breaks of course. And, yes, with my wacky back, it took me a few days to recover each time...lol. Thank goodness for my little rolling detail stool hubby bought me a few years ago....highly recommend that piece of equipment...lol.
After our next round of rain and severe weather blows through, I will probably do a full detail on the Tahoe....heaven knows it needs some "love"...haha!

Nice. We got our first snow yesterday so the Camaro is in hibernation.

As an owner of a white one, I have to say that the styling on your Spring Ed. has held up well. I particularly like the aero add-ons, the monochromatic diffuser on the rear and the 21” wheels.

Thanks Indy! I agree. The SSE had just enough styling elements that were different that it really stood out to us....love at first sight! haha!
