MPH to KPH conversion
I hope this is the right place for this question, but if I was to buy a car in the states and bring it back to Canada, how much is involved in changing the speedometer etc from mph to km per hour?

The Canadian vehicles have a switch from MPH to KMH so why would the USA vehicles not have the same switch.
on another note, really importing now with the exchange will still land at less cost than local shopping? |

I didn't know they had a switch I'm sorry, I don't own one yet. Just been looking to this point. And I know the exchange rate it doesn't make sense right now but whenever the dollar rebounds it makes a lot of sense to shop in the states

For the analog speedometer, I don't know if the scale for the numbers is different between US and Canadian models. |

There's no need for that. If you read the owners manual, it states that you can simply change your speed measurement to metric and back. Just using the menu button located on the left of your steering wheel. It's just a button push away.
