depends on how much horsepower you want.........you can get these cars in so many diff configurations ......depending in what wheels...engine..ground effects etc. The main diff in these 2 packages is the addition of long tube headers/ bigger supercharger pulley and specific tune. just decide how much hp you want and write the check.....however i will tell you that the 550 hp is about the max for the stock clutch and the rear-end/axles. When you go higher, you really should upgrade the clutch and axles. Just my opinion

I dunno tho 550 HP and 600HP isnt that much of a boost.

Call Hennessey.... They seem like good people... They can go into more elaborate details... but I think that the HPE 600 has a much more aggressive cam... Might not fair as well as a DD..... just some cents...

you can put the supercharger / exhaust / cai and professional tune and get the same thing minus the decals......not sure how much it would save you but i would bet its alot

i don't think most people can tell the difference b/w 50 hp when you're talking 550 and 600.

IF you were to go through Hennessey, they have a warranty for 3yrs....

I can not say what your warranty would be with other vendors....

You could purchase items separately and do it elsewhere, but the results might not be the same....

I've rode in the HPE550 and it was smoking fast down the 1320! I don't knwo the time we ran but the speedo said 120+ when we hit the traps!

I am supercharged and pulling down about 500 hp (don't know for sure yet) on the stock maggie tune. I pulled 25mpg all the way to Valdosta and back to San Antonio too!

Not ran her yet but will in the next week or so plus get a dyno on my numbers.

The HPE packages are very good, worth the money as well in my opinion. But once you top 550 or so...it's going to get expensive getting your other stock parts up to par with the engine.

If money is the concern...you can always go with the 550 and then upgrade later too?
