Made 524hp/ 413tq, this reading was taken at 7050 rpm. The graph was still climbing north but the tuner felt it would be risky taking it any higher. This is an increase of 51hp, and the tq essentially stayed the same. Seat of the pants dyno is a huge difference. I'm very happy with the results!
You need to rev that thing out more

i understand the intake shifts the curves/peaks higher on the graph because of the shorter runners. what i'm confused about is the torque loss with the cam install. shouldn't that cam keep torque the same, or increase it?

if the car runs great thats awesome, i hope it lasts for a long time and i'm glad you are enjoying the car. i'm just sort of lost on that one thing. is it because of the spray or the gears?

when your cam gets that big AND add an intake like above you have effectively changed the operating range of the motor from off idle to (for me)7k to a motor that lives from 4 to 8..

what would be nice is an all VVT system that allows the lifter to control valve timing....hmmmm

Let me point out 3 things.

1: Those are tool steel retainers
2: the pac .660 springs can easily handle RPM i shift my car at 7600
3: I run the pac springs and tool steel retainers with l99 valves not even hollow stems to that rpm...

1. Correct about the retainers...I apologize.
2. As my tuner explained to me, revving to 7600 on motor and 7600 on spray are 2 different things. My tune was optimized to be safe on motor as well as spray. This was my goal...at this point. I trust my tuner, they know what they are doing. They said if the intention was max effort on motor... the tune would be different.

revving to 7600 on spray isn't any better than revving to 7600 on motor...

On spray it revs much faster...better chance of floating the valves... that's what my tuner said.

I revved to 7600 on a 175 shot and then swapped to an lsa blower and continued to do so. Just food for thought

You think this is safe for my application given the cam, springs, retainers etc?

My tuner does a lot of LS stuff... that's there expertise. Why would they stop at 7100?

Yeah my last nitrous setup had the window switch set a good 200 before cutoff. A backfire happened, but its because I held nitrous in 5th to hyperspace hahha...no damage, just lost a hood grille LOL

I would ask TSP about PTV and their cam, but it depends on your heads.

Yeah some plp do not post a lot here, but you never know who you are dealing with.

The post that talked about wrapping a 1LE around a tree...I think that’s when you have achieved success in your build. When it’s so bad ass you can’t keep it on the street and it wants to climb trees! Bravo!
