I was considering the NT555 G2's but decided instead on the Continental Extreme Contact Sports....which have been on back-order since late November (fronts are finally available but no production estimate yet for the rears). Thinking again about the NT555 G2's.

Honestly, it goes just as well if not better than the stock goodyears.
The stock tires never really hooked up well when cold. These don't need heat. They just stick and go.

No idea. I have not yet tracked this car. That was kind of why I went this direction. There are better tires for the track. I picked these as a street tire.

Thanks guy's for all the responses. I was going to go with the oem Goodyears but I changed my wind and bought the Michelins from Tire Rack. I don't track the car so I figured they would be better in the long run. Now I need to get a new set of rubber for my ZR1. Better get to work and make some money!!!!

Yeah, But it looks like you have a 1LE. I would say that's normal for those tires. Mine is a just a A10 ZL1. I think those tires should last more than 11k miles if the car is not tracked.

The Goodyears have a 220 treadwear rating so you won’t get that many miles out of them. I would think 12,000 would be a miracle!

I only got 8012 out of mine. I mean, there was a legal amount of tread left on the fronts (barely), but the rears were toast.

Got my PS4's installed yesterday. Had to take car to ceramic coating shop to re do trunk lid because some bird crap actually etched it. So limited driving so far. With that said car seems to ride a little better not that it was bad before. At the end of the day I think it will be about the same as the Goodyear's. The benefit will be that they will last a lot longer. I was worried that the front Michelins had almost a 1 inch narrower width on the specs but in reality I can say it's not really that noticeable and if I didn't know it I would never think it by looking at them. So, at this point I am very satisfied with them!!!!!
