Got mine to work today.
It's 40ish out, remote started and seat is warm. I did change the settings on the radio and I did have mine on when I shut the car off this morning.

There is a way to do it. I lifted this from a post made by ChevyTech in a thread about ice warnings.

"To enable Heated seats on remote start, go to your radio:

Entering the Personalization Menus

Press the CONFIG button to access the Configuration Settings menu. Turn the MENU / SELECT knob to highlight Vehicle Settings.
Press the center of the MENU / SELECT knob to select the Vehicle Settings menu.
The following list of menu items will be available:

• Climate and Air Quality

Turn the MENU / SELECT knob to highlight the menu. Press the knob to select it. Each of the menus is detailed in the following information.

Climate and Air Quality
Select the Climate and Air Quality menu and the following will be displayed:

• Remote Start Heated Seats

Remote Start Heated Seats
When on, this feature will turn the heated seats on when using remote start.

Press the MENU / SELECT knob when Remote Start Heated Seats is highlighted. Turn the knob to select On or Off. Press the knob to confirm and go back to the last menu. "

Hmm Don't think its in the Climate menu.. Was in one Yesterday and going over it.. Go to the vehicle settings and then scroll down till you see Remote Start.. select it and then the only option in that menu is remote heated seats.

Did anyone find out if there is an issue with remote start and the heated seats? Mine don't seem to work either even though I have the heated seats set to come on when the remote start is used....

Mine hasn't worked yet either although its garaged every night and is probably 50 degrees in the garage in the morn. It probably needs to be a certain temp outside for them to work, it would just be nice to know what that temp is.

I agree. I have come out from work after working swings and remote started my vehicle in about 40 degrees and let it run for a couple minutes. No heat....

I called and asked the service department and they said that the feature is currently unavailable and that hopefully it will come out as an update later on.

I wonder if that is just a polite way of telling you they don't have a clue what you're referring to?

My dealer said they'd be happy to look into it, but I'd have to leave it overnight to give it a shot in the morning. I hate doing that but..... :(

He seemed to understand what I was talking about, he had said he'll make a phone call and get back to me, and when he called me back that was what he had said.
