so what are your thoughts on the Injen? When is your next track date?

I like it! I got the black wrinkle and it looks nice. The install wasn't bad at all. Installing the washer bottle with removing the wheel and liner adds the time.

I think the filter is in a well protected area being so close to the ground and I used the hydroshield.

I took it out for a quick spin and the car feels great. I plan on a couple 0-60 runs tommorow and I'll be at the track this sunday weather permitting.

13's? yep that's my goal. Now if I can just launch , I have a chance.

I'll be by myself on sunday so some pics around the track is the best I can do.
Maybe I'll ask some of the import guys to snap a few. Last time at Atco there was a dozen import cars lined up with me for test and tune. I can't tell you what they were driving, they all look the same to me.

But everyone is very nice and respectful, no matter what you drive as long as it doesn't break down on the track.

If you can please post pics of the cold air intake, I've been waiting to see the black version before placing my order.

In the 1/8th, I've got a 2.03 60ft, finishing the run in 9.12 @ 81.22 mph. DA was 1116, IIRC.

No 1/4 mile around me, other then Gateway, and I don't kno when I'll get to play up there.

In any case, I'm in the 14.1-14.2 1/4 mile area, closing in on the 13s. If I could only get the car to not pull timing, lol...Will be making a trip north tomorrow. Will stop by a shop and get some Torco, and maybe test and tune some more Saturday!

Here's the black Injen installed. I also did a couple 0-60 runs, the best out of three was with T/C off. Now if I can only do it at the track.

Hmmmm, today at 50* the Matrix showed 4.98, 5.04 and the 4.89
With the Airaid and the SLP it would show around 5 +/- but that was with temps between 35 and 40 *

No question times would climb (5.1,5.2,5.3) as temps rose above 40*

So I would say with the Injen it was easy to get in the (5) range at 50 *

I agree it really was a good move to handle it this way but with the advent of the internet it was really there only choice. As I can see by the hit counter on some of these posts they have been viewed thousands of times. I wouldnt want to be the company this crosses the members on this forum. It looks like when a new product comes out people are all over it if the quality is there. As I follow these posts it is amazing how the soap opera goes on and on but this one looks like we might have a happy ending.
