Arrow Auto Transport Trailer for Rent - Need Help Finding One

Hello everyone,

Well, it looks like I am heading back to Florida in July for a couple of months for work and this time I want to bring my Camaro with me. However, when I contacted Uhaul about renting their Auto Carrier, they told me that my car is too wide and too low for their trailer. So, they said no.

Therefore, I was hoping somebody here has another solution for me. I am not really interested in buying a trailer but will consider a used one if the price is right (Uhaul wanted $1,050 plus tax round trip).

*As for the vehicle towing it: it will be my Ford Expedition EL Limited 4X4 with a Class 3 Tow Hitch.

Thanks everyone in advance for your help. I appreciate it.

Joe

Good god $1,050 to rent that POS. Call an Auto transport company and have it shipped for that price. You'll save $1000 in fuel.

I agree. Either have it shipped, or buy a trailer.

I used a uhaul trailer to move to Camaro from Texas to Kansas. I think it cost me like $100 (one way). It took a couple extra ramps but I made it on okay (lowered 1.4"). Pulled nicely and the fold down wheel wells makes it nice.

Thanks everyone. Sorry, I couldn't find my string; it was moved. I am considering buying a trailer instead. I looked into shipping it but since I have to drive to Florida anyway it makes more sense to invest into something that I can resell later if necessary.
