Ny international raceway. Track is 966ft, with weather conditions it was +1450ft above.

I raced my step father's BMW M5 earlier today with my brother driving it. We raced off a low roll 3 times, and I beat him every single run. It felt really good lol.

awesome! let me know how it feels on a 60 roll, i can beat an M6 and M3 off the line, but i had a M6 get the best of me off a 60 roll (so i was just wondering how a M5 compares to your SS)

to the OP i think with the issue of the 5.0 and your SS is coming down to your 60ft. and the fact that your buddy seems to be a really good driver. I think that mustang has awesome numbers tho, i mean that trap is ridiculous for those mods. just practice launching that thing or maybe get sticky. Them 5.0's are good track cars

From a 60 roll he is in trouble. There is vids popping up everywhere of new M5's pulling stock C6Z06's. If the driver knows what he is doing in the M5.

Agree. I've seen few run bottom 12 teens stock with great drivers. And a bunch with good drivers go mid 12's. Then horrible drivers go 13's and worse.

Don't ya love this. When the E60 V10 M5 first came out they were beating every exotic car on youtube even Porsche turbos, then came to find out years later they weren't really that fast. I suspect the same hoax here with this new M5.

I guess I'm out of the loop. I didn't realize M5's were that powerful.

EDIT: Just doing a really quick search on them and came across this line which I think is pretty awesome writing.

It's also extremely fast and feels lighter than our cars when you are pushing it to it's limits. My boss has one and it is absolutely superb. Not my style, but insanely good and is solidly in my top ten cars I have ever driven.

All have do is some searching. The new M5 is a top end car like most bmw's. And plenty vids of them pulling z06 on 60 rolls or being door to door with them.
