This is the repair they did on my car until the new bumper comes in. Looks pretty good but will have to see it in person tomorrow to make sure.

Those repairs don't look bad at all. He'll of you posted these pictures first wouldn't of ever known it was damaged

Yeah but I am happy they were so honest and told me about it up front. Based on that I think they got another sale tomorrow. My dad is going up with me so he can ride back in the new car and is going to have them order him a new Impala.

Haha your guys cars look awesome!! Took mine to work. Picked it up from the dealer on my lunch break, awesome! Only thing I noticed is there is some clutch noise when it's fully released. If I press it, it goes away. Plus , the NPP butterfly valves won't close?

I mean, I was gonna pull the fuse anyway, but I'd like it to be functional if I decide to go on a long trip... Like I am Saturday...

Check the fuse for the NPP to make sure it isn't blown. Should be in the trunk, check the manual for exactly which one it is.

What kind of noise is the clutch making?

It almost sounds like rocks in a tumbler. Like a bad bearing, I hear bad bearings all the time at work. Sounds just like it...

That could be the issue. Take it in tomorrow and have the tech go for a ride with you so they can hear it.

It could be normal, I will have to listen to mine tomorrow when I pick it up. Only 23 hours until I can get up there to pick mine up.

I was questioning a few things like that myself. I couldn't hear a difference in exhaust time either while driving. However I got to work and shut it off then started it and I could definitely here the exhaust valves close. I hear a similar noise from the tranny as well but only in neutral with the clutch out. Clutch in and nose goes away. I have been told these drivelines are not the quietest? I am going to give it a few days to "learn" my car.

These cars are not quiet at all, even my V6 right now has some noise from the clutch and slack noise at low speeds. They are very heavy duty so you will hear some noises you are not used to in a normal car.

That's what I'm thinking. I am really impressed with the feel of this car it dives so nice! I just sold my 99 ss with koni shocks bmr springs and all kinds of stuff and I can honestly say there is no comparison. Already forming a crowd at work lol.
