SoCal - Need a shop for some repairs

Wondering if anyone has any shops they recommend for a modified 2010 SS in the Santa Monica / Venice area?

A few days ago, notice some minor vibration coming through the shifter around 2-3k in 2nd/3rd gear. I've taken the car out a couple times to hop to work and back and over the couple miles it took, the minor vibration has increased into a pretty heavy shake if i don't baby the shit out of her.

My gut is saying its probably the transmission mount.

But i've also been putting up with a transmission issue for the past 2 years now that I'd finally like to get fixed as well. Pretty much right after I got the car, i started having difficulty shifting 1st -> 2nd under heavy acceleration, and currently can't shift her unless I'm under 50% pedal.

Sooo with that in mind anyone have any shops they'd recommend?

Buddy of mine dropped his tranny of at Anaheim transmission and gear (think that was the name). He's picking it up today but they had a really good rep and the prices seemed very reasonable.
