Lt4 or lsa swap

Not sure if I'm in the right section but recently my ls3 got trashed. I was thinking of doing a 416 stroker but also debating on getting a lsa crate engine or a lt4. Lt4 and lsa crate engines are similar in price and a couple grand above 416. I need a new engine with block so that's why I was considering the crate engines. Would the lsa and lt4 both be direct fit? And if so will I need a computer or will mine work with a tune?
Thanks for the help.

Or you can buy a LSX376 for $5600 for a b8

Or $7200 for a b15 and have a 2yr 50k warranty from GMPP.

Moar motor = better. Lol

You can buy a all forged shortblock from ADM for $4995 with all callies and compstar. Good parts.

LT4 is direct injection so you would need to convert

What are your power goals?

Im sure you could get a forged shortblock and reuse your heads if they are still in good shape and LSA blower from ADM. ADM can probably quote you a whole setup

failshift, what made you get rid of your LS3? Did it blow up or did you just want an LSX?

I was curious, if my L99 blows up for whatever reason, do I just F it and get an LSX? Or are there cheaper options than are better than a replacement engine?

These engines are a great upgrade for a fraction of the cost. Both the B8 and the B15 can handle boost if you decided to add it later. You get and LSX block plus forged internals if you go with the B15. they are a direct bolt in for your vehicle. we have installed a few here at our shop and they are very dependable.

Just My Opinion.

Is LSX the best replacement engine for the money if you blow up your LS3?

I don't think I'll ever go FI if that was the case.

So basically if I were to blow up my engine and I wanted to stay N/A, a stroker would be more expensive compared to a brand new LSX right?

Depends on what you mean by LSX.

I wouldnt do a iron block for any NA build.
