Why were my numbers lower?

Group of friends went to a dyno this weekend. My mods are
Vararam intake
RX ported throttle body
Texas speed 1 7/8 long tube headers
Texas speed high flow cats
Solo performance exhaust w/ J pipes
Vitesse throttle controller
Tuned by Dynosteve

I started my dyno pull with oil temperature at 200 degrees and coolant temp around 190. I read on the forum somewhere that our engines perform best with the oil fully warmed up. My full bolt-on LS3 made 428whp

My buddy's 2013 LS3 has fewer mods (CAI intake, Hookers shorty headers, exhaust, preloaded SCT handheld tune) he made 445whp.
He started his run with the engine cold.
Could the temperature cause that big of a difference?

Just curious how my car made less power than a less modified one.

Anyone have any idea? Was it the temperature?

2013 has electric steering but still 445 is way high for stock internal.

I made 473/475 FBO plus 1.85 rockers and E85. 450-460 is obtainable with out the 1.85s. I dont see him getting near 445 with his mods though. When you and your buddy line them up..... whats the outcome?

445whp with bolt ons? That's a "friendly" dyno.

per above what do the dyno graphs look like overlaid? IMHO dyno is a nice # to throw around(best used is as a TUNING tool on high((er)) end builds)...line 'em at at the 1/4 and show what the slips look like(heck run your car against your bud and then SWITCH cars and run against ea other...video it....youtube...make money...wtf are we talkin 'bout here?

layman's terms...a lower dyno car can eat a higher dyno's car lunch every day of the week...so which car do you want? peace OP...l8tr

You are no where near FBO mild bolt on at best........ This definition of FBO is just average. You do not have an electric water pump, rod mod ls3 intake, flex fuel, light clutch, vacuum pump etc etc

I wouldn't call that a bolt on car anymore - I'd call that a near max-effort on stock cam car. Still sounds high but the trap speed backs it up. Pretty nice work.

Now a CAI intake, Hookers shorty headers, exhaust, preloaded SCT handheld tune car making 445whp definitely sounds outrageous.

The problem is everybody has a very different idea of what full bolt on means.

I'm not having what is bolt on discussion again. Search.
What needs to be said has already been spoken.

To claim 4 mods is full bolt on is silly lol I am internally modded using 1.85 rockers which were bolt ons in the 80s and 90s but most people are to young for that era of hot rodding. Poor pos 5.0s and TBI cars needed all they could get, The real serious ford guys would degree their cams LOL
