Gorilla Guard wheel locks 61641

Well I just bought 5 individual sets to cover every stud. I just opened each pack and I was curious as to how many sets were keyed the same. THEY ARE ALL KEYED THE SAME!!! All 5 keys work on all five sets! These are individual sets, not a "System" set. I was hoping to get maybe two or three sets the same to keep things easier, but all 5 kinda scares me. How many in a row do they make with the same key code? Kinda dumb if they are the same, all someone has to do is go buy a set just for the key and steal all they want? I was going to email them, but I see they don't have a email address?

They don't need a key to get them off. All they do is take an appropriately sized socket and hammer it onto the lock.

This is what I wanted to do, thought just the one lug nut being different looked kind of weird... But I just haven't done it yet...

If they want them, they're gonna get them!

And the socket trick works, I have had to do it on my own car.

These are the ones with the free spinning outer collar. You can't hammer a socket or get vise grips on them.

As for using them on every stud, absolutely! One lock per wheel looks dumb, doesn't match, plus each wheel is 5 times harder to steal!!! All 5 only cost me $112 Canadian, not bad really.

As for your main question, I know they make different locks, as we have gorilla on our car for the SEMA show and they sent us three different ones, LOL

it's a pain, but I should have the real set of lugs soon as they're being released. these were just what they had at the time.

I purchased the gorilla lock system for about $65.00 shipped from amazon. It came with 24 wheel locks and the one key. You should return the ones you have and look into the complete system. Hopefully, all the gorilla systems don't have the same locks too.

They don't have the 61641 in the "System Set", or I would have. The System set is only the open acorn style. Here are pics of the one vs all 5 look.

Where do you keep the key? you must have it with you in case you get a flat. Do you keep it in the car? What will stop the thief from getting it out of your car and using it. What wheels are you protecting, the $4,600.00 21 inchers?

I agree it does look better that way. I also agree its very stupid to buy 4 different sets and find all to have the same key.

But as someone who has damaged a key in the past, and had a key strip in the past and then has had to find a way to get ONE wheel lock off... I could only imagine the circle of hell that was designed for removing 5.....
