It can be defeated with liberal application of your right foot. Just like active fuel management.

Upshift only.

CAGS Eliminator @ JEGS - $25

Yes, can be tuned out, but pia dealers can void your warranty for tune. Even if you restore original, variation is recorded. Most dealers don't care, but some can and will refuse warranty work.

I just saw aqua blue metallic in person, and I must say it is an awesome color. You cannot tell in the pictures the uniqueness of the color and how it changes in the light, but the new colorado's are available in this color. I saw one at the miami auto show. Also, the colorado is now available with the 5.3l 300hp v8, that sounds like it should be a nice combo. Now that they are apparently offering this color on the SS, I think I would definitely get the aqua blue after seeing it in person.

It was stupid not to include blue in the first place. 5 years ago GM would not care, but seems to me they have a vested desire for this car to be sucessful and the new owners happy............I may try to get a 2011, gotta have that HUD! But as of right now, no clue how I can pay for it

Camaro will be built. GM has spend millions, if not billions on the car already. If it doesn't go into production, GM will have lost all that money. Besides, the US government can't let GM fail -GM is responsible for over 1 000 000 jobs in the US, probably more.

With all the supply companies and other manufacturers that would be affected it could be 5 million jobs directly effected, then what that would do to the economy would cause more companies in towns like Detroit and surronding neighbourhoods. So all those stores restaurants etc. would go under or would have to cut staffing severly. It could be more jobs than anyone would care to think about.

Well, the Government can let them fail but it isn't going to since it has attributed for part of the reason for its decline. Giving in to Union worker demands for retirement benefits and environmentalists liberals in the Government that sold "global warming" as the reason emissions need to be under extreme control and so forth has created a company that cannot make a profit anymore and needs the Government printing out and giving them money in order to stay alive and everybody to be happy.

If the Government had stayed out of GM's business and let them do what is smart for the company, things would be a lot different today and GM wouldn't be in as big a mess as it is in where they are on their hands and knees asking for money from the Gov.

I do agree the consequences of GM going bankrupt would mean all warranty's on current vehicles would disappear along with all retiree health benefits and thousands of jobs would be lost. It would be devastating to the economy however the Government could take over the health insurance for those employees and cover warranties just the same while other private car companies like Toyota would buy out GM's plants and so forth taking over the brand.. This would be the best scenario in my opinion but as we know with Liberals in office it will never happen. The government is going to remain in control and sooner than later will have total control and we all know how great the Government is at running things...

Wrong. GM going UNDER would mean that, not Chapter 11. For any bankruptcy you have to list CURRENT liabilities for the Court. Please tell me the current liability of a possible warranty issue. Warranties could not be protected under the bankruptcy ruling as they have no tangible value at any time you don't have an issue with your vehicle. Whatever current warranty claims billed from the dealers to GM and not yet paid could be part of the bankruptcy but not your warranty itself.

Cool Blue Camaro Mid November?

Does anyone have any confirmed info on which blue is going to be offered and has anyone been able to change their order to the blue? I have ordered the RS/SS Vic Red, Short throw w stripe but I would like Blue. Hope all this financial loan w/ government does not delay our Camaro even more time.
