technically, it was a Saleen S281. started out as a mustang then got modded by Saleen. and Barricade (the name of the character) was a Decepticon

...................that would put the cost up several thousand dollars --- and frankly, we are working on many new cars and trucks for the new GM.....no time to do a new front end for a couple thousand cars.

We have other Camaro stuff we're working on............

The first mod would be to put an aux windshield tank in the trunk, with a nozzle mounted between the tail lights, and a button on the console.....so bumblebee could spew fluids on the tailgaters behind me

id get too tempted to put flamable fluids in the aux windshield tank.... then spray and light....lol

You know...people are right comparing it to Bumble Bee. Here is what was said in GM's official press release: .........we had countless customers asking to purchase the 'BUMBLEBEE' Camaro," said Karen Rafferty, product marketing director, Chevrolet. "Now, they can buy one with the new Camaro TRANSFORMERS Special Edition. I would rather that it just be excepted for what it is....A streetable version of Bumble Bee. By the way, I am not buying it as an investment. I like it being unique and like I said before, it's really close to the car I had ordered anyway. My kids will love it!!!!!!!

This package is amazing!!! Basically it breaks down $470 for the stripes and $525 for Autobot/Transformers logos... I think the only thing that could have made this cooler would be autobot logo on the steering wheel and/or front seat headrests... If you don't like it, don't buy it. I personally will be ordering my 2ss with this package..

This whole "it's a transformers kit" line is ridiculous. Really. I get it, it's a transformers kit. But what transformer is it? IT'S BUMBLEBEE. Does it transform into a robot? No, so no matter how accurate it is, it's a car with stickers. Splitting hairs over why it's not 100% authentic & it's just a transformers edition, both sides are wasting breath. Let it go. You like it or you don't. Good lord.

+1. 30 and would pay $10k premium for rocket launcher on any car.
