FI Engines

We put quite a bit of time, effort, and money into our high performance machines, owners and builders, and wanted to share some of this info with you all. I posted this in oil and fluids but my intent is to provide empirical data for the group in FI and will continue to gather data for all of us. There was some concern about the 7500 mile analysis and after talking to Blackstone Labs, AGP, and ADM, I am confident that the life-blood of these cars is working. There are many out there that have their favorite fluids and they are great products, but here are the numbers for my engine and oil.

The 7500 mile analysis was street driving only, I conducted a flush for 500 miles as recommended and filled her up with Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel 5W40 for the next run. I had 5 x 1/4 mile runs and 6 x Auto X on this sample to include aggressive daily driving. I highly recommend sending off a sample for analysis and it will give you a piece of mind.

Yes, now I do. I ran 15W50 until 7500 mile analysis and the TD 5W40 seems to be the ticket.

I wonder if I should switch to that as well? I don't have turbos but my whipple is making 14.5psi but my compression ratio is 9.5:1. I thought about trying the LS30 oil out as well...
