Finally got my ZL1 Grill Installed!
I finally got all the pieces (painted bowtie and 1LE emblem) for my ZL1 grill and installed everything. Here are a few pics!

That looks great! And just as I was about to put my Heritage grill on. :(
Did you paint the bowtie? Does the rear bowtie match? I would rather go badge-less, but I think you have to put something there. If that is your garage I want to be your neighbor!

Thanks. Yup that is my garage. Just had my lift installed last year. Best money ever spent...well other than the money I spent on my 1LE!!
Yeah I've always thought the ZL1 grill was nice and was never really completely sold on the heritage grill. The heritage grills look nice and all but I guess I like the subtleness and lines of the ZL1 grill a little better. Quote:
And yeah that's my garage. If you are ever in WI you are more than welcome to stop by!!

I think you'll really like the ZL1 Grill. I think I saw a post where you were looking for a bowtie. The ZL1 grill bowtie is a little different than the stock one. The stock one has 4 tabs to lock it into the grill where the ZL1 bowtie only has 3 tabs. I'm not sure if you could just cut one tab off a stock bowtie or not but I figured it was a good reason to go ahead and get a custom painted bowtie at the same time!

Thanks. I like it a lot too. What did you get to put over the "ZL1" embosses in the grill where the ZL1 emblem would have gone? Just curious. I ordered the custom 1LE badge from Emblem Pros. I didn't want to leave it blank. It just wouldn't look right being able to still see the "ZL1" lettering.
Thanks. Choosing my bowtie colors turned out to be more difficult than I thought it would be. I got the matte finish one. I'll have to see how easy it is to keep clean and keep from staining with bug guts. If it doesn't keep clean very easy because of the matte finish I might have to re-order one in a semi-gloss finish instead. I didn't really want glossy so I guess the semi-gloss will have to be the next step up if need be. Thank you!
