KB 2.8 SC for sale

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
I'm selling my used KB LC 2.8 SC.
It's used with about 6k miles on it. You can see pics and HP numbers
in my build thread.

It needs a BAP, i sold mine since i went with a return style, twin fuel pump set up.
It needs a new air filter and two short 5/8 lines to go to the pump that got messed up in the removal.

It's polished and looks great and gives lots of low end torque
But it makes a tad more heat than a maggie or a whipple, but
that is something that can be fixed.

I'm asking $4000.

mine ran great , enough to run the 1/4 in low 11..could of hit 10,s with a set of slicks...the manual was just to hard to launch and shift on dr,s with that much low end torque..gary{ orange10sc} runs his hard at the autox and has no problems, they do seem to run a little hotter iats, but that really has no bearing unless you need every little bit of hp in a 1/4 to get into the 9,s...for a 10-11 second car , the higher iats , does not matter. g200 ran his kb with a blower cam and hit high 10,s...consistantly...

Truly, i was very happy with the KB. I was just being sarcastic on the first post. I'll go change my wording.

Thanks Mike!!!
He's right, g200 ran well, Gary ran well, i loved it on the streeet, it was just extra hard with a manual. And i was being sarcastic about the heat it makes, it's just that all PD S/C's make heat, and the KB's are just the one's making a few degrees more, and can be fixed.
That's why my next car will be a auto, i'll get the trans upgraded, and
i'll be happy!

Thanks! I think it's worth 5k. I paid $7,500, and thought it was worth
that when i installed it. This will go to a good home for sure!

We had the dyno when the spring heat and humidity was getting
out of hand.

A few months later, John Lee installed the super chiller by trekgto (dave)
and we saw the IAT's drop down 33% and with the timing not pulled as much, John moved the tune a good bit. I didn't have the dyno open to me that day, but John said 40-50hp was there.
The seat of my paints dyno said he was right, it was like driving the car on a
cool, crisp, fall morning, when the OST said 103 in georgia summer sun, stop and go traffic.
I had a twin fuel pump, return style fuel system, so that was never the issue. I only had the stock bottem end to hold me back.
This was a SUPER fun street car!!!
