What happens if dealer can't find and fix problem?
So after 28 days of being at the dealer for new clutch and a list of random stuff in my way driving it home it started leaking red fluid and has a speed sensitive chirp that gets pretty violent. Turns out our transmission fluid is clear and not red so it was coolant. They fixed that but could not find or fix the chirp. They called me saying they are unable to fix the problem and to come pick up the car. They assured me it's safe to drive (weird since they don't know what it is) but if I'd like I could bring the car back but doubted they could find it. They wouldn't even look to see if it's a wheel bearing. I asked if it could be and they said GM vehicles all sound the same when they have a bad wheel bearing and that chirp isn't it. So now what do I do? Take it to another dealer??

I would find another dealership for sure. Sorry about the mess you're in.

Definitely go to another dealership if possible. Also, if you can isolate where the chirp comes from (front, middle , rear of car etc) that helps them locate it. Also it could be something simple like a loose belt or one of the other things that goes faster as the car accelerates.

They tried to tell me the chirp came from the new flowmasters I put on! I was like huh?! It comes from the front right and your tech that road in the car said it was rotational! I like how they attempted to void my warranty

front right eh.. well sounds like either the belt, a/c compressor or could even be the front wheel..

Definitely go to another dealer. It may take you a few tries, but when you find a good one, it will give you peace of mind.

I had a chirp sound in my 1991 escort, nobody could isolate it. Several dealers looked at it. When it was all said and done, it was the belt tensioner.

But as far as them telling you to come pick it up. I'd call GM and have them call the dealership. There's no WAY IN HELL I would drive my car off of a lot with problems. Once they fixed it, I wouldn't ever go back to them.
