Doesn't really matter. What you have to watch for is as you jack one end up the other end goes down making it difficult to get a jack under the Camaro, especially if you are lowered. I drive mine onto my home ramps. Then jack up the rear using the rear diff. housing. Place jack stands in the locations indicated above. Then move around to the front and jack up on the cross member and then install jack stands as shown.

I have found doing the front works best.

I didn't even think if this. I have race ramps so I think this method will work best

Ryan
My ramps are staggered 2 x 8's I only drive onto the first portion, any further up the ramps will cause the rear end to drop so low I can't get the jack under the rear end.

This may sound like a silly question, but I can use the floor jack where the jack stand positions in the picture are correct?

Yes, you can use those points. I will advise to also get the ZL1 JackPads if you use the pinch welds at all.

Just a little heads up, one time I jacked up my car on the cross member closest to the oil pan (the one indicated where to put the jack stand). I actually dented it in a bit. That being said I didn't use a piece of wood because the jack was too tall, I did use a couple rags to prevent scratching the paint though lol.

No doubt it will dent the cross member without distribution of the contact point. Need a piece of wood for sure.
