I loved seeing the ZR1 get sideways. Chevy needs more commercials like that. They need a commercial with the Camaro, not to sell the Camaro, but Chevys in general.

The avereage Joe does not get to ride in a rocket to the moon but I still love the fact that we could do it. The ZR1 is also quite an accomplishment.

It's a pride thing. :flag2:

Seriously... The "bean counting" thread is over at pocketprotector.com

It would just be nice to see what they would come up with. I like car commercials that rock and the new Vette commercial is “OUTSTANDING”; it really sends chills down your back. How cool would it be to see a Camaro commercial that would do the same… Car commercials are just another part of the “car culture”, history so to say, a flash in time that’s cool to look back on. For some reason ford has always been the leader at putting out great car commercials. They did it with the gt and they have always done it with the mustang.

It brings the average joe into the dealership for a look and then he buys the vehicle he can afford. It's an attention getter. I'm sure there is alot of people that go in to look at the SS and drive away in the LT or LS.

They're not bashful. Chevy aims to prop up the efficiency and technology of the Camaro. But there's really no harm is making some loud exhaust-music while you're at it. They haven't seemed to wrap their minds around that quite yet. I want to put my foot in my mouth, now...Mr. and Mrs. GM-readers!!!

One has to wonder, though...if the return-on-investment factor was considered...a Camaro commercial certainly makes more sense than this one. It reaches a FAR larger audience, and the car is MUCH more attainable...Here's to hoping they put one out like that one in...what...Mexico, was it?

Great commercial! But I'd still rather have my Camaro.

I have always wanted a vette and nearly bought one. I test drove it a couple years ago, fully loaded coupe with everything, but I will tell you this...it's not the most comfortable car. You think you can't see out of a Camaro? Try a vette! Its a whole different thing. Dont get me wrong, I may still buy one, but the camaro is a much more practical V8 car. It really gives the sensation that you are driving a sportscar, you are low to the ground, visibility isnt great, but the car stops on a dime and accelerates very well. It makes turns smooth and easy. I took it on the highway and you really feel like you are "sliding" from lane to lane, not moving a big car. It's an experience.

Dude.. the pushrod touch was awesome. Not to mention the tag in the lower part of the screen saying "Built in Bowling Green, KY from globally sourced parts." If they ever to a cruze centric one I'd love to see some Lordstown shots..
