black out kit question
hey guys so i bought the tail light blackout kit from phastek and put them on yesterday(my car looks awesome now) but idk if i should black out the reverse lights because they dont seem that bright to begin with. has anyone put them over their reverse lights? does it make it even worse? pretty much i still wanna be able to see when im backing up and not have the light dimmed to much and also i want other people to see me back up

black out kit question
I had the same issue. I did the stealth kit on my IBM and the lighting in reverse was affected. When I bought my kit, they advised not to tint the reverse light but I did anyways. Ended up taking it off. If you really want to tint it, I would go with the lightest tint. Upgrading to LED is also an option to make it brighter.

I just added the Oracle ghosted LED back-up lights. Despite the smoked lens they are still brighter than stock. It's a win-win.

Yep the tinted oracle ones will work. It does require removing the rear bumper to install. $200 bucks as well
