I went to Scottsdale in 2011 and Reno in 2013 it's a lot of fun guys you should all go see it in person at least once imo.
Oh and in Scottsdale you get to see a nice parade of millionaires trophy wives...just saying

Yeah but name me one person that could buy a house and live for 20 years on $30,000. Big difference from paying 4 million for one car.

look at it this way, those guys buying don't dare drive those cars or take them to a car show. so how much do they enjoy them.
i'd sure never know those guys at that auction have money. they don't have much money tied up in the bowling shirts they're all wearing.

I go to Barrett every years. It is the most impressive display of cars you will ever see. People think this is just like a cruise in night...no. These is the most unique, rarest of the rare, bad ass cars you can ever see. You almost get jaded walking through the show. You walk passed '67 Shelby GT500s like their nothing. Its overwhelming!

Not one damn bit jealous, just because I say watching them pay that much makes me sick does not mean I am jealous of them. I just think about everything I could do if I had the money they spend on just one car.
Even if I did have their money, I would be more like Jay Leno. He buys them and drives them and when they need it he restores them and drives them some more.
Myself I have a very short list of cars I would buy. And I saw them all on there and not one of them went for more than $50,000. Most were in the $35,000 range.
