Help painting V6 calipers
I want to paint my V6 calipers but I'm not sure how to go about it. I'm worried that the finish may not be smooth enough with how textured the metal looks. Is there a way to smooth it out? Obviously I could grind / sand the hell out of it but that's a ton of work and I don't think I have the time.
I also would rather not have to do a whole brake system bleed, so I was thinking of masking and painting in place, anybody else do this? Is spray better or the brush on stuff? one last question... On synergy green, red or black? I plan on painting the rotors black.

Red. Get some red pin stripe and do the hash marks to see what an outline of them would look like.

Since I've got the bright silver rims I was actually kind of hoping that black rotors and black calipers might set off the wheels pretty nicely. It would blend in a bit but since I don't have the Brembos I don't think it would hurt too much.
I know red is kind of the go-to color for calipers, because it does look nice, but I am worried that it might clash a bit with the green. I'd love some pics of other synergy cars with painted calipers! Also, how much down time do I need for the paint to properly cure and what not for a really nice job?

Funny I have synergy green and want either red of purple painted calipers.
There is already red on my car since I have the RS package so I'm tempted to go with red more so.

Those look nice... Which is why I'm worried about how mine will turn out. The Brembos are nice and smooth to start, mine are very textured. And I really want to see what the red looks like on a green...
