My Car Exposed To Vandalism :( - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

To all Edmonton drivers, my Cammy was pened (keyed) from fender to fender on the passenger side of the car. The mark left was far into the clear coat but looks like it didnt destroy the paint fully. However, whatever was used to drag across the car, the object caught on the door after the rear wheel panel and removed the paint about the size of the end of a pen then countinued along the side of the door to the front wheel panel.

I'm soo disgusted right now :( I've contacted Smart Program and hopefully, that insurrance will help me out.

To anyone else in the Edmonton area, you may want to think twice before parking at a mall to go shopping. This was in the Kingsway area btw.

I just dont get how other's have to go and ruin something soo special that I worked soo hard for. Its just not fair man :( .

. Took me over a year to save up for the downpayment of this car and already it seems ruined.

sorry to hear that...i know how upsetting / irritating / down right frickin' maddening it is - i 've had a car keyed previously and man was i pi55ed! Hope it is "only" the clearcoat and your paint job is not wrecked.

We figure there are two kinds of poeple who do this. Truly careless people who don't think twice about shoving a shopping cart or flinging their door open on a vehicle and then there are those who are truly evil and jealous and do this kind of thing as an ego "screw you" thrill. Anymore, I am afraid of parking my Camaro in a Public parking lot unattended. It doesn't seem to matter how far away or how nice of vehicle you park next, you come back out and you're surrounded by cars that owners do not take any pride in. Good luck and my heart goes out to you.

Up here its actually pretty rampant because the culprits even if caught never receive anything. Its like a free for all for dipshits to run around and do this stuff. Go back to mall and see if outdoor cameras were installed near your baby you get the cops to get this person as he will continue to do it unless caught!!

talk to closest store owners ...maybe there have been prior incidents as well.
