I'm working in Casper, Wy till October. One of my coworkers said there was a red SS on the lot at a local dealer, so I thought I would stop by and take a look even though they were closed.

Turns out it was IOM 2SS and had one of those window stickers saying "As is No warranty". So I looked at the vin and turns out it was pre pro # 900732.

I was surprised to see the as is sticker. With it being closed i couldn't talk to anyone about it. And BTW, it was at an auto broker, not a Chevy dealer.

Price? If they knocked maybe 5K off the stiker I'd have given it some serious consideration.

I would only do it if you have other cars, spare. That's how I get away with owning multiple POS's. I mean it can sit for a while broken while you figure out, DIY or shop etc.

I would not do it dont matter what. A the warranty, every car ive ever had brand new Ive had work done on it covered by the warranty. B is the pre-prodiuction, not all the kinks have been worked out. C. There might be parts and configurations of parts that arent made now, they were just made for that car. I would not do it unless it was super cheap
