whats your monthly payments on your 2010 ss
I just wanted to know what some you guys are paying right now. I been saving money for awhile and in a few years i wanna put 14grand down and try to get cheap monthly payments. Right now im 21 and still building my credit so thats gonna take a few years before i can get approved for one. and do you think by the time 3years rolls around I will have enough credit to get one? i always make my payments on time so far (:

Shop for a clean used one and with 14k down, you may not need to finance one. Better yet, you may be able to keep some of that 14k for some goodies...
Biggest factor will be the amount borrowed, term of loan and the rate (which will be based on credit score)

It's not just the car payment, you need to think about the insurance cost also.
Good luck to you

2k down on a 34k car roughly 550 a month, its very doable for my income. Insurance is the kicker Im going on 30 and I pay about 65 a month.

My fiancé drives a '98 z28 that's sweeeet. He has it fixed up. If you are wanting it more for handling and performance, stick with that gen. If you just want a pig of a car then get the 2010. Camaros these days are not made like they used to be. I would say to save that money for a few months and start doing mods to your '98. New paint, hood, engine, exhaust, etc. Just some thoughts

best bet in your case is to look for a used one. where I have little credit, young,(23), even with Grandpa cosigning, it was $600 a month, plus $200 in insurance...Hence why I no longer have the car...

Go online and find a note estimator program. It will let you put in what you have, and show you what you can get. There are numerous calculators out there. Try one.

$493 here, with auto insurance only $58 month from USAA...which is odd for a 22 year old with over 400 horses at his disposal.

you can figure on about $16 per 1000 financed as a ruff guide, but to be honest. dont focus on payment. focus on total cost of car out the door. if you truly have 14,000 to put down no reason you shouldnt be able to be in one for more than 300-350 a month total
insurance at your age is gonna be 100 a month or more so be ready for that too |
