I don't see any camaros...

On a weekend trip in Spartansburg, SC and I noticed a lot of ford mustangs but have not seen a single camaro at all. I'm really shocked because I see a lot more up north (RI) of camaros than mustangs. I also see a lot of ford pickup trucks and ram trucks, but very few chevy or gmc. Any opinion on this?

I think we should all be happy the roads aren't overwhelmed with Gen 5's like they are with Mustangs. This ensures we all get head turns when we cruise by

Foolish, I just moved to Greenville and have been through Spartanburg a few times. Although I will have to agree with you I see about 20 mustangs to each Camaro. And since I've been here all but a week I think I can count 4. Black, Yellow, Vic Red Vert who either lives near me or was visiting, and a Vic Red with Black stripes.

Well you are in luck! I just moved from San Diego to South Carolina, so there is one less Camaro in SD!

There's a term used in marketing called demographics. It refers to the characteristics of individuals, their likes and dislikes, living in different areas of the country. Don't ask me why, but Fords seem to sell more vehicles in sparcely populated areas, and GM in the more populated areas. Sometimes it's just a simple matter of the locations of vehicle or parts manufacturing facilities.

Vehicle manufacturers spend tons of money every year on demographic studies, that way they know where they need to spend more or less on advertising.

Lol that is totally true. I live in North County and see a few Camaros each day. It's weird too because before I got my camaro I never saw any. I work at chevron so I always see and get to talk to camaro owners when they stop for gas.

Around here there are WAY more Camaros than Mustangs. It's crazy. You can't drive anywhere without seeing them.
