I drove by Mattinglys and they have spacious parking and I know their food is good as I have visited their sister pub in Florissant. My concern is getting thru the intersections without breaking up the line of vehicles which We have. (hopefully a fairly large group)..If we head East on 70 theres 3 redlights. Headn West there's 2 light real close to each other.. So If we meet at Bier Brothers Theres only one light and its fairly easy to access the highway.. (but no food and drinks).. Jus my 2 cents-- Please Folks voice your opion as to which place you perfer so we may settle this... I really like Mattinglys but also like to keep the group of cars together once we leave...
(This is starting to look VERY GOOD).... Rick |

Well you can always stick a couple cars that know where they are going throughout the group. This way you have one in the front and another one about mid pack and if we get seperated we still have someone that knows where they are going.

LOL na I am not familiar at all with those areas. I am hoping that my girlfriend will be off work for this and can travel with me since she lives in St. Louis, but if not then I will travel by myself and hang out with everyone.

Hey guys, just a thought. I l was looking at the area on google map and it looks like ther are no lights between the Mattingly's and the highway on ramp. And if we go right onto the highway, we can avoid another light there. Maybe drive up to the Mid Rivers Mall? Park in the lot for a while and head back, or just leave from there. The first light we would actually hit would be the off ramp to get the mall and mid rivers mall drive. If we get broken up from there, we can just meet at the mall around the block.
edit: just realised that the first right is onto the service road, not the highway. Back to square one on the light situation..

Just as an FYI, a good meeting spot for past cruises has been HotShots in Fenton. Everybody has to turn right leaving the parking lot, and it puts you DIRECTLY onto Highway 44 going east. It then feeds right into 270. Just a suggestion, but it helps to keep everybody together at the start!

I might be interested in joining. Have to see schedules for April. If it's going to be a cruise then I recommend hwy 94 along the river. Great stretches of road out there.

Hi there is one direction that you forgot that would be 370/truman exit. There is one light between the exit and mattingly's. The light very long and quite a few cars get through before it turns red, plus there is enough shoulder space that some can pull over to wait for the others and mattingly's is just over the hill.
