Flowmaster Outlaws

Just ordered Flowmaster outlaws for my ride and got a great deal.. $371 with free shipping.. Now I will be anxious to get then and put them on... My only complaint about my Camaro since I got it was that it wasn't loud enough but I didn't want it to be too loud.. The flowmasters seem to be a good mix.. I guess I will find out..

+1 Outlaw sounds badass. I'll order mine when I break in at 1,500.

I've been debating the outlaws, let us Know how what you think when you do the install. I've been told they sound great.

I put the S-10's on with paceSetter headers...It sounds great! The Outlaws are going to make your Camaro sound like it should have been from the factory. You will not be disappointed. Ill take Flowmaster over Magnaflow anyday!

Like mine, but on the LS3 a bit louder and more in cabin boom in the 1500-2500 range on the road then a L99 , but only 150 miles on them and maybe ecu still adjusting. Other then that they sound great! Considering they aren't much of a muffler they are not wildly loud, just good old v8 sound. At idle they sound mean and clear , not muffled but not loud either, just right imo. At cold start they fire up like a cannon so hope neighbors dont mind. In my case I have barking dogs all around me so I dont care.

UPDATE....
I put my outlaws on today. I was a unhappy with the packaging of the mufflers from Flowmaster. When I got them the black finish was scratched off in a few places where the hanger rods were rubbing against the other muffler. Nothing I cant fix with some header paint but I shouldn't have to. Install was very easy and went off without too much problem. I didn't like where the instructional video told me to position the clamps. I didn't like studs that close to my rearend housing... I liked the sound when I took her for a spin... I am happy so far. Drone is minimal and could seem to be avoided with a gear change. They are not as loud as I thought they would be after reading some comments on some other threads. They purr nicely at idle and are pretty quiet at highway speeds you can hear as much road noise as exhaust.. but when you jump on her they bark pretty good...

Glad they worked out well. Man mine has alot of drone on the 2012 M6 and fires up like a cannon shot! Maybe GM did something to the 2012's tune or cam we dont know about? Mine was not quiet at all when you nail it.Now with J pipes and res x pipe it is tame and no drone but took those things to get no drone!

Maybe you were just unlucky enough to have the right setup to create the harmonics that help amplify the vibration that creates drone... I do refrigeration work for a living and we can have 100 condensing units but sure enough 2 of them will get a harmonic vibration that you just can't stop.. Glad you got yours worked out.. I will keep in mind what you did in case I develop some noise. Sometimes it is as simple as readjusting the pipes or hangers other times you have to go to all the trouble you did..

yeah it was odd. We thought about weight even to give more mass to stop the vibrations as I think gm did with those big cans they use. those outlaws are mighty hollow and no insulation but the hangers are in rubber and they are not moving. Oh well. Maybe now I may put in the h pipe and take out the x but more $ and time for what? a little more sound? Or maybe the 2012 is tuned more aggressively or different cam and kept secret? My freind has heard the 2011 and mine stock andmine was louder so who knows.
