Thanks for the help, Pics of painted Bow Ties
Thanks to all that chimed in on my various questions. Here are a couple of shots of the finished product. I painted the bow ties a two tone to get ride of the chrome and painted the tail light covers as well. The last pic is of a idea I have to replace the chrome camaro on the fenders, let me know what you think.
Again thanks to all, I wouldve been lost with out the help. Last edited by ac223mal; 09-25-2017 at 04:30 PM. |

ac223mal,
The bow ties look great! I like the black "Camaro" for the side panels, it goes well with your color scheme!!! |

I would take the new Camaro letting off and keep the old style on. I like it.

The Old school lettering is the one you should go with. The color scheme matches the rest of the car better than the chrome new school lettering. JMO

Thanks for the input guys, was starting to get worried when I hadn't heard from anyone.
The script was placed on with some worn out 3M tape to take the pics and then taken back off, just so I could get an idea. I wasn't to worried about the bow ties and the trim rings, but I didnt trust myself to get the fender camaro back on right, if I took it off and didn't like it. Thanks for the input and opinions! And to mess things up a bit, if I keep the block camaro I plan to paint it also, so what do you all think, script or block in the gray? PonyMan, a special thanks to you, you've helped me out in all the threads that I had questions regarding the bow ties. I posted the pics here so you could see the end result. |

I would paint the block-lettered Camaro, instead of throwing the wrong generation emblem on a new car.
