Looking good bud! Hey does the toilet mod really work? I of course have the thud bump sound....also had the popping sound but moved the springs isolators (ones actually on the springs) up and it completely went away.

I didn't have any issues...I did the mod for complete cosmetic reasons. Less than $10 mod...you can't beat it. Added an extra 25hp too.

Intercooler Tank

Today I received my custom-built intercooler tank. The intercooler tank that comes with the whipple leaves a little to be desired. Ok, a lot to be desired.

I asked the builder to put hard-fittings on this tank so that I knew that the fittings would look good. I didn't want brass, and I didn't want to take the time to find the right anodized aluminum fittings.

I was also planning to get this thing anodized black. After checking with one local company, it didn't seem cost effective. Maybe if you were doing many of these tanks at once. Instead, I plan on powder coating it black.

Here are some pics...and I also sat it in the callaway, since my convertible's engine bay is all in pieces.

Nice. Not over the top. Looks very tasteful in there!

And it's hard to believe you still have the Callaway. I figured it would have been sold by now.

Yeah...haven't really tried. Haven't listed it anywhere but on here. My wife doesn't want me to sell it.

That intercooler tank looks infinitely better than the stock Whipple tank. I have no idea why Whipple doesn't offer an upgraded tank. I know I would have bought it. They have it in such a prominent location and it's fugly.

You're right Bill. I had a couple of conversations with a couple of guys at whipple. They both mentioned that they make a custom aluminum tank for the corvettes. I almost was going to order a magnuson tank because I hate the whipple one so much. The only hurdle I have left is to get both hoses out from the back of the whipple to the driver's side. I pulled my whipple back off to figure it out, and I just have to set it back on there to see if I have enough clearance. Or I may see about running the passenger side hose to the passenger side connector on the heat exchanger up in front of the radiator. I've got some work to do.

Looks great Joe!

The sidemarker delete looks incredible! So flush and clean!

Red Halos look mean!

And that engine bay really shows the hard work you've put into it. It's a sight for sore eyes from looking at a stock camaro engine bay!

Again, great work Joe!
