Drivin on I85 last night and debris hits the front bumper and puts a big ass dent in tue lower bumper. Theres no paint damage but I am sure they will replace the bumper as a fix.

How much does it cost?

friend of mine just purchased one and it was under $400.00

Mine cost $350 dollars for a salvage off another SS, about $150 for paint and about $200 for labor.

Just had the rear bumper replaced and painted on an 08 Explorer at the body shop. A friend of ours, (really!) backed into it in their driveway when we went to visit and they didn't realize our car was behind there's.

Out the door total = $860

Not when your deductable is $1k like mine. Yeah, I know it is high, but I keep it that way for lower rates.

Do the SS bumper it looks awsome I did mine after someone back into my car over this winter!

3 additional parts needed 1-new lower grill,2-mail slot grill,3-lower air dam rubber strip.

SS bumper is 2 inches wider!! and looks meaner IMHO.

Got the V6 to SS conversion kit for $432 from gmpartshouseusa. Might as well upgrade if you need to replace it.

So you can put the SS front end on the front of a V6? How difficult a job is it? Vetehead, what was the cost for you? My guess is more than USMCSSGT-RET because you have those cool stripes on yours

I'm waiting on an estimate now, but if all goes to plan, I'll be getting white stripes painted on front to back!

I have the front bumper for the LT (summit white) if you decide to go that route. It came off my camaro a couple weeks ago. Very good shape. Send me private message to get in touch with you if interested.
