Whipple 2.9 Feeler/Parts List

Debating between the whipple 2.9 PD Blower and the AGP or IPS TT kits.

The agp seems to use smaller turbos which may spool quick. Im also looking at the ips entry level kit.

I like the whipple 2.9 more than the other blowers for a PD. What would it take to get the whipple on a ls3 m6 2012 to be in the 600-650 rwhp range. At this time im not looking to forge the block so im trying to stick to low 600's.

Thanks Levi

I put down 718 rwhp on a Dynojet with the Whipple, headers, cam, cai, and 3.875 pulley. If I could do it over again, I'd probably choose the IPS twin turbo. Great power, torque, and better fuel economy.

I can get 23-24 on the highway, but as soon as I'm driving around town, it's usually around 14.

Also consider you don't have to buy headers or a cai with the turbo kit. Plus they sound cool. lol

Ya, Before i even started this I was kinda pro turbo but... PD does have that mean launch. But i would love to keep my fuel economy up on highway. I just keep finding PD's for about 5k. I guess if you factor in even 5k +1k headers and cai etc there still somewhat close in price. I do love there sound!

AGP small turbos? Which turbos are you talking about since there are about 50+ different combinations you can get? 56, 61, 67s? .63, .82, 1.0, 1.2 a/r? Then you can get into ball bearing, billet, etc etc.

If they spool too quick, swapping housings is a hour long job. Plus the turbos will make more torque (if you want). Plus one of the biggest advantages of a turbo setup is adjustable boost and boost by gear is super simple to setup. Worried about traction? Just get a decent electronic boost controller and have it ramp up boost by speed or gear. Want 550hp around town then set it to 5-6psi, want 15psi when you have 100octane in and want to make 800+rwhp, just turn the knob.
