I figure I'd finally woke up to the fact that I need to document this fine auto in some way. so here goes:

After my wife finally getting fed up with me drooling over ths car for 2 months - she finally said to just order it already - but get the Gray one.

So I ordered it on June 13, 2009 from Norman Frede Chevrolet. $500 deposit and I had goose bumps. I sat in que for a couple weeks until I got an email saying it had been accepted

1100, Preliminary order.......................6/25/09
2000, Order accepted by GM...............8/10/09
3000, Order accepted by production.....8/11/09
3300, Order scheduled for production....8/20/09
3400, Order broadcast........................8/25/09
3800, VIN is assigned..........................9/1/09 A9142692
4000, Available to ship........................?
4200, Shipped...................................?
4300, Intermediate Delivery.................?
4B00, Bayed.....................................?
5000, Delivered to the dealer...............9/16/09

I call the dealership because I had not heard anything about the car since the VIN was announced and it so happened that it was just being unloaded off the truck. I was totally useless at work that day. But I brought her home that evening.

BTW: Need some pics of that rear plate too....

Got the windows tinted 30% on sides and back window

DOOR DING!

A very tiny one though - didn't scratch the clear coat and had a dent repair guy fix it to perfection again

Had the dealership take care of the gurgling noise under the passenger side dash. The GM bulletin for it if anyone needs it is #09-01-37-001 - Installs a heater restrictor

The only gurgling sound from my passenger side is my passenger after I show them what 4th gear @ 5500 is like...

Just installed the 4 pack gauges yesterday. Guess I'll have to find a new place for my sunglasses. Super easy to install and best of all it's plug and play. No programming from dealership

No - just some reflection from the camera flash - although that would look slick if it were permanent
