Stock for stock with an old srt8 6.1 sure, but these newer 392 are pretty beastly.... SS run 13s usually, these 392s are getting 12s and thats just 1/4 .... we all know when we race in Mexico it goes farther than a 1/4 mile.

But yes, the OPs car should be a drivers race against a 392 if he can drive.
Methinks you should read a bit further, OP is modded/tuned.

That's what makes it a driver's race

Me wasn't responding to OP.

However, since your modded, it's easily enough to tip it your way....BUT again, the launch is the most critical...

Sorry,...I don't see a stock 392 beating a LS3 with mods.
There are guys right now with the LS3 who have headers, exhaust, cai, and a tune and there cars a putting out 430+RWHP and when they cam it, they're churning out close to 500rwhp.

That stock Challenger won't be messing with that LS3,....I don't care if it has 468hp or not, whatever. When the LS3 got modded the rwhp difference between the two went out of the damn window. The LS3 is light and now has similar hp. Perhaps....drivers race but the deck is in the LS3 favor, until he mods. :-)

Well how much are the 392 challys putting down to the wheels?

Not sure if this will be in Mexico or in the 1/4 mile, but if it is in Mexico you need to look at crank and not just rwhp.

Well....they're putting down an honest 430ish to the wheels,...dynos have rated higher when it first came out but now we got the "real" readings.

I'd still give it to the LS3 if the power is even,....its still too heavy.
