Hey everyone, thanks for the great information! I had my front bumper replaced by a local repair shop thru my insurance and they left the pair of Torx Head screws tightened clockwise. I had to tightened the pair of Torx Head screws in the counter-clockwise direction in order to adjust my front bumper down to make it flush with the hood.

Old thread resurrection.... What size torx screwdriver do I need to adjust the screws? My hood is also low in the very front, but even on the sides. I have adjusted the bumper stops, but will need to adjust the torx screws to get the center part even.

Just got mine adjusted correctly. Should have had the wife sit in the car and pull the lever 23 times. For bump stops and 6 shims.

reviving a old thread....how much play is there in the torx adjustment screws? I put on a new hood, and have it flush everywhere but at the front of the cowl, behind the mail slot....the hood is about a 1/8 inch lower. I can raise the front two bumpers, or the hood will not latch. I have loosened the torx screws about two full turns, but have not noticed a change....continued loosing them? I do not know how much play there is and do not want the bolt to come loose.
thanks

Help any pics anyone can post !!vis Terminator hood

Trying to install the terminator fiberglass hood . It sits a little off to one side where there is a slight gap between the side panel and the side of the hood . Also the front centre of the hood sits flush but towards the front side it sits lower than the bumper . Am I missing anything . ? If I loosen the bumper screws to raise the hood up then the hood doesn't latch. Lol it's so frustrating..
